JOURNEY OF MY COLLEG LIFE
College is one of the first stepping stone in young women’s life. It is the light of passage that thousands of teenagers and young adults are talking over the world. So then why is it one of the hardest and the stressful times in a young adult’s life.
From my college experience , I gained many things . Obviously, it is the time when a student truly becomes an individual.
I had always relied on my parents for support, but in college I got the opportunity to become independent and take on new responsibilities.
It seems to be like yesterday when I entered this huge, majestic college with high hopes and dreams. It was unbelievable for me that I got selected in the entrance exam and my name was in the first merit list. I entered the college campus and with full zeal completed all the admission procedures. Before I left I felt proud and happy , that I am going to study in the most reknowned college of the city.
These three years came up with fine experiences. I met many girls who were from different schools, and within a week or a two five girls of the class became my friends , I would mention they are the most weird girls of the college but were quiet different from others –
Sunita- “The calm , quiet , love to speak less and listen more”.
Archana- “The mood savior:.
Pratishtha-“Loves to speak more and listen less”.
Deeba & Nazreen-“The best buddies lost in their own world.
The discipline and academics of the college was different from the other college.. The regular classes, practicals- HUH…..THE PRACTICALS(ZOOLOGY)”…I still remember the 1st day of the practical when we were asked to dissect earthworm……the feeling was just ewwwwwww………
Whenever we get free from classes;” waise to ye akbhi hota nahi tha because we were science students so our classes commence from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. but still we love to sit in the imanculate garden of the college and chit chat. The second most loving place where we were often found was”canteen”, ohh I love “chunchun roll” and will miss it……Iwas the one who love to attend Thursday chapel and S.V.E classes and attend all the Friday assemblies which shaped my thinking. The trimesters use to be now and then and I use to sit with the syllabus catalog the day before and search whether I have the enough material for the test or not..
I would like to thank to the teachers who scolded us for our indiscplined behavior, but because of their scoldings today we have developed the skills of handling the adverse situations.
At the end of the 1st year I gave my resume in the S.G.A and I got the post of Executive committee…S.G.A dressed in white, always on their toes. Being the S.G.A officer it enhanced my leadership skills, always maintain the discipline of the college, attending classes, getting scoldings from teachers..
The year passes and it seems to be like yesterday when the installation ceremony took place. Now this is the last year of the graduation, I gave my resume for the post of “SECRETARY” I feel myself lucky to be the part of the celebration of 125 years of our prestigious college. The post of the secretary of the college would the life time experience. Its an interesting and challenging task and I am enjoying working under advisors. It is a great matter of privilege for me. All these experiences have groomed and taught me how to bring about a balance in my life. Attending all the classes regularly and also working for S.G.A, Iearnt a lot, time- management, responsibility and many more things….”I learnt to drape sari & carry it with ease and comfort”.
It is the last year of graduation, soon the notorious pranks will turn out to be the serious plans everly planned out . But the full stop will never be able to locate their actual destination..
I’ll always remember fun with friends, attending classes, preparation for exams, S.G.A and my teachers who were always there to help and guide me in every situation.
“THESE ARE THE MOST CHERISHED TIMES OF MY LIFE”
Iwould like to extend my deep gratitude to the Teachers and Principal ma’am for their guidance and encouragement……..
I’LL MISS MY COLLEGE DAYS…..
“SAYING GOODBYE ISN’T HARD PART, IT’S WHAT WE LEAVE BEHIND THAT’S TOUGH”….
